Things That Attract My Eye – Part 22
It’s been a while since I added to this segment. The images below were taken in March and April this year. We’ve certainly had some beautiful skies of that time. I always enjoy looking at, and taking photos of clouds etc. They also make excellent backgrounds for my poems. 🙂

“Glacier” – 6 Years, 125 Days of a Watercolour Sketch a Day!
It has been another very hectic month for many reasons. I am fortunate to have started this daily Art practice a few years ago. Without this practice I think I would have been using the old excuse, “that I didn’t have time” a lot!
Here is today’s sketch.

Materials:
- Aquarelle Watercolour sketchbook 300gsm Cold Press
- Sumikondo Japanese Watercolours (Blue-Black)
- Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolours (Indigo)
- Aquawash & Neef brushes
I had a lot of fun doing this one!
Till next time!

Things That Attract My Eye – Part 16
The three images in this post have one thing in common.
They were all taken through the windows of our car. The first one was taken en route to my BNI Business Breakfast meeting; and the second and third, taken yesterday on our way home from Bathurst.
Yes, there is some dirt on the windows evident, but with all three images, I am still glad I took them.

What attracted me to all three? Light, colour and contrast.
Till next time!

Reflective of my Mood…
Today’s post is Watercolour Sketch a Day, 4 years, 363 days (in a row).
It has been a fairly hectic start to the year work and other commitment-wise and I think the subject of today’s sketch was clearly about my mind looking for a rest, I feel…

I called it, ‘Meditative.’
Is the art that you produce always reflective of your current mood?
Till next time!

Early Morning Walking
Over the past few days I’ve enjoyed walking down at the Camden Bike Track which is located alongside the Nepean River, not far from where we live. It has broken its banks no less than three times this year. We have recently moved here but we are up higher so hopefully, we are high enough.
It is Summer here in Sydney, Australia and we are located about 60km SW of Sydney. It was a cool December by our standards, and it has only been in the mid 30’s (Celsius) over the past week.
In those two walks, I walked a total nearly 10km and took some shots with the phone camera. I hope you enjoy them.
